A partially neutralised sodium diphosphate (Na₃HP₂O₇). Used as a buffering agent and stabiliser. Less common in food than E450I or E450III. Shares the same cumulative phosphate concerns — high total phosphate intake from processed foods is associated with kidney and cardiovascular risks.
