Thickener / Gelling Agent
Highly viscous dietary fibre from the konjac plant. Can form very firm gels. EU and UK have banned its use in confectionery jellies (mini-cup jellies) due to choking risk, particularly in children and the elderly. Safe in other applications at normal levels.
